Personal REXX for Windows, Version 3.5

Version 3.5 of Personal REXX for Windows is the version currently being shipped. It is available as an upgrade to owners of previous versions of Personal REXX for DOS, OS/2, and Windows.

Windows NT, 2000, and XP are fully supported with native 32-bit code. Users of Windows 95/98 and 3.x should use the 16-bit version of the product, which is also included in the package.

Both versions have essentially the same features. However, the 32-bit code removes most capacity limits of the 16-bit code. For instance, much larger programs can be handled by the built-in editor, and the largest variable value can be as much as 500MB in size instead of 50KB. The 32-bit code also supports long file names.

In comparison to the previous version (3.0) of Personal REXX for Windows, the new release also adds:

Customers who have purchased the "pre-release" edition of this release for Windows NT will automatically receive Version 3.5. All other owners of any version of Personal REXX are eligible to upgrade to the new release according to the following schedule:

If you own: The upgrade price per copy is:

The upgrade package includes the latest version of the printed Personal Rexx for Windows supplemental reference. The full package and upgrades from Personal Rexx 2.0 or earlier also include a Personal Rexx User's Guide and a Language Reference. These manuals are not included in upgrades from Personal Rexx 3.0, since equivalent documentation previously supplied remains valid.
