Personal Rexx Maintenance Files

You may download the following files to receive the latest maintenance updates of Personal Rexx for Windows. The ZIP files contain replacements for your executable files (.EXE and .DLL). We recommend that you keep backup copies of the original files for comparison in case there are any problems. You can do this by copying all .EXE and .DLL files in the directory that contains Personal Rexx for Windows (usually \WINREXX) to another directory or removable disk.

To install the maintenance updates, just go to the directory that contains the executable files and use an unzip program like Winzip or Pkunzip. If you have not moved the original files out of this directory, respond "y" or "yes" when asked whether to replace existing files.

Be sure to get the correct maintenance files for the version of Personal Rexx that you have installed - 16-bit or 32-bit. Although either set of files will work under NT, you probably want the 32-bit versions. If you have Windows 3.x, only the 16-bit files can be used.

The version of Personal Rexx included in this maintenance release is Year-2000 ready. There is a file called Y2K.TXT included in both of these packages which explains details of Year-2000 readiness for Personal Rexx.

Please let us know if there are additional problems with these maintenance files.
